Rovio will take the pigs further with 'Bad Piggies' later this month

A press release from the creators of Amazing Alex and Angry Birds:

Rovio Entertainment, the creators of Angry Birds, today announced their newest game, Bad Piggies, launching September 27 for iOS, Android and Mac. This innovative game turns the franchise on its head by letting the fans play as the pigs – with all new, never-before-seen gameplay – and not a slingshot in sight!

Well this isn't at all surprising; we knew the pigs would have their revenge. Now, if you were actually playing as the pigs of Angry Birds, you'd only have to sit and wait to be hurled into oblivion. But no, Rovio thought of a better opportunity for their successful franchise's sinister characters. Next we'll be seeing "Bad Piggies Go to the Market" and the like.
