Carbon for Android

First Papermill and now this. Is it possible that Android apps are beginning to improve or is this just an evil trick to sway customers? I must admit that the animations look extremely smooth and Windows Phone-like. I'd actually like to try this out and see if it really is as great as the video shows it to be.
