We criticize Android for being poorly designed because it’s poorly designed. We favor iOS > because it’s better designed. That’s it.
It’s true. There’s nothing more to it than the fact that Apple designers care to make a nice UI and Google’s Android department doesn’t. Open source operating systems will never, ever be as polished as ones that cost because for them to be open source, important aspects like fonts must be sacrificed.
