New classical music that's epic
If you're reading this, then you're likely a classical music zealot like myself. I want to introduce you to a few artists that will give you a taste of the "new age" classical music. Check it out below.
(Not ordered by importance.)
- William Joseph -- check out some of his stuff on Rdio here
- Thomas Bergersen -- not your usual trailer music composer; also see Two Steps From Hell
- Capo Productions -- beautiful, soothing music that's great for helping you sleep
- Kitaro -- while he's not exactly new, he's very good
- Ari Pulkkinen -- I mentioned some of this fine composer's works a few weeks back. He focuses on soundtracks for games.
- Ian Joe Mason -- a piano prodigy that no one has heard of, but should definitely listen to
- Jami Sieber -- yet another unheard-of composer, Sieber is the artist of the great Braid soundtrack
- Joni Mustikkaniemi, a.k.a. "DayDreamingFox -- Mustikkaniemi composes wonderful and emotional music, and it's all free
Enjoy your listening!
