'The Midsummer Station'

I just listened to yet another track from Owl City's upcoming album, The Midsummer Station, and immediately canceled my signed pre-order of the album from Newbury Comics. The track, titled "Dreams and Disasters" plainly broadcasts Young's decline into the mainstream realm. At first, with the Shooting Star EP, it wasn't a bad thing, but now his music is falling apart. The entire song has a basic three-chord progression of C#, B, F# with repetitive lyrics that lead nowhere. I'm not joking: the chords are exactly the same for the whole song at 126 BPM.

Why must good things end as soon as they become favored?

Update: "I'm Coming After You" is ten times worse. It has the same exact melody as "Good Time"! Surely you jest, Adam.
