A few major bloggers that I follow (Jim Dalrymple and Marco Arment) are loathing Twitter these days because of MG Siegler's Tweet revealing that the network's Mac client may be gone for good soon. Aside from the hilarious providence (intentional, yes yes) of Siegler posting the information to Twitter, the situation is not all that unfortunate. People are making a big deal out of nothing and I'm sure there will be users that leave the network entirely because of this one problem. If anyone thought about the situation for one second, they might see that Twitter isn't really "killing off" the client because they haven't updated it in a long time. There's no recent development because they're concentrating on the Web and iPhone apps -- nothing else. And oh well, if you don't like it then leave. I understand that people think it's horrible how they successfully killed Tweetie, but it's time to move on.
